JOIN A CITY GROUP!

City Groups are designed to be a key catalyst in The King’s Church’s mission by creating environments where participants can declare and display the gospel to one another. The aim of our City Groups is gospel fluency, which means we encourage one another to know, believe, and speak the gospel of Jesus Christ and to view all of life through this lens. This is practically accomplished by weekly rehearsing the good news of the gospel to one another, bearing one another’s burdens, and meaningfully applying the hope of Jesus to the regular joys and difficulties we all encounter in life. City Groups are designed to be marked by our Core Values of finding beauty in the ordinary, fighting to show up, and faithfully pursuing meaningful conversations. These groups are also meant to be hospitable environments for those are are new to our community.

Practically, each City Group shares a family meal together and then engages in a gospel conversation from our schedule of reading in Community Bible Reading (CBR) from the “Seeing Jesus Together” Journal. Each group has a facilitator to help guide the weekly discussion. Generally, our City Groups meet weekly, taking the first week of the month off from gathering.

*In the months of January & August, all of our City Groups take a break, and we have three church-wide gatherings called Equip Nights at our building.
