We are a family of disciples committed to finding beauty in the ordinary, fighting to show up, and faithfully pursuing meaningful conversations
FINDING BEAUTY IN THE ORDINARY
We believe that there is beauty to be found in the ordinary means of grace that God has given his people, including gathering together for worship, being present in one another’s lives in community, and pursuing a relationship with God through his word and prayer. We believe God uses these regular habits and rhythms to conform us more into the image of Christ (2 Cor. 3:18).
FIGHTing TO SHOW UP
We are a church marked by the commitment to an embodied presence in one another’s lives. We fight to show up in order to bear each other’s burdens (Gal. 6:1-2), to speak the truth in love (Eph. 4:15-16), and to love one another just as Christ has loved us (Jn. 13:34-35). Fighting to show up isn’t often convenient or easy, but it is essential for our faith in Jesus Christ as God.
FAITHFULLY PURSUING MEANINGFUL CONVERSATIONS
We believe it is important to build genuine friendships, and a central part of these relationships ought to be meaningful conversations. We are committed to listening well, understanding others, and then pursuing conversations that ultimately point to Jesus and the hope of the gospel.
